Two separate experiences

The Quenrixes desktop application processes your recordings on your computer. It does not require a hosted transcription account or upload recordings to our servers. The online store uses Shopify to process orders and provide digital downloads. This policy describes the store, support and purchase experience.

Information we receive

When you browse or purchase, Shopify and our service providers may process your name, email, billing details, order contents, payment status, device and browser information, IP address, cookie identifiers and interactions with the store. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send. We do not receive your complete payment-card number or security code from Shopify Payments.

How information is used

We use information to process and deliver purchases, send receipts and download links, answer support and refund requests, protect against fraud, keep accounting records and comply with legal obligations. Depending on your privacy choices and Shopify settings, Shopify may use browsing information for analytics and enhanced services. We do not add independent advertising pixels or sell customer lists.

Our lawful bases

Where applicable, processing relies on performance of your purchase contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating a secure business and responding to support, and consent for non-essential cookies where consent is required. You may withdraw cookie consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Service providers and disclosure

Information is shared as necessary with Shopify, Shopify Payments and available payment providers, the Shopify Digital Products service, and providers handling store communications or security. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights, or carry out a lawful business transfer. These providers can process information in countries other than yours using applicable safeguards.

Shopify may act as a separate controller for some enhanced services. Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and use Shopify’s Privacy Portal for choices relating to Shopify.

Cookies and your choices

Necessary cookies enable shopping baskets, security and checkout. Analytics and marketing technologies are governed by the applicable Shopify consent settings. Use the store’s cookie banner, Cookie preferences and Your privacy choices links to review available choices. Where supported and legally required, Shopify also responds to Global Privacy Control signals. Declining non-essential cookies does not prevent you from buying.

Retention and security

We retain information only as needed for purchases, support, refunds, legal recordkeeping, fraud prevention and dispute resolution. Different records have different required periods. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, restriction or objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent. You may also have a right to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and to appeal a decision or complain to a privacy authority. To make a request, email contact@quenrixes.shop. We may need to verify your identity using relevant order details. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.

Children and updates

The store is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children where parental consent is required. If you believe a child supplied information, contact us. We may update this policy when practices or requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
